Snowdon cake made by our 8 year old

This is the Snowdon cake made by our 8 year old (with a little help from Nanny!) whilst we were away!

Video for Sophia from the Summit

Take a look at the video we made for Sophia from the summit of Snowdon!

Snowdon summit

Here is the photographic evidence that we reached the summit!

We went up the Pyg track (steepest route up Snowdon and probably the most challenging apart from Crib Goch!) and down the Miner's track and it took us just over 5 and a half hours including a short stop at the summit to have lunch and make a video for Sophia.

Adam looking pleased that we only have a mile to the summit!

Just the Support We Need

I cannot thank everyone enough who has shown support, sponsored us or made a donation directly to the Sophia's Footsteps website.  Even Sophia herself has made us a video to thank us for our support and every one of these best wishes will make climbing Snowdon on Saturday all the more rewarding.

I must admit with the weather being so atrocious lately and Adam suffering from a trapped nerve in his back it has been a rather stressful lead up to the big fundraising event but now that we are only 2 days away I have to say I am really quite excited!  Plus the weather even looks as if it is picking up!

Tonight I will be packing the bags ready for the off on Friday night.
